Nancy Tesler was born in Worcester, Mass. and is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University. After a career as an actor and a hiatus to raise three children, Nancy began writing for the stage and television. A second career as a biofeedback clinician helped pay the bills when, single again, and inspired by an overwhelming urge to do someone in, she created the “Other Deadly Things” mystery series.
Although three of the five books in the series are set in suburban New Jersey where Nancy raised her family, she now lives in sunny California with her very level-headed significant other and her three rescue cats. Coincidentally (or not) her latest book is a stand-alone romantic suspense.
She is the author of five published amateur sleuth mysteries, and one off-off Broadway stage play. Nancy is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters in Crime and Romance Writers of America.
